Sacramento State at California

The California Golden Bears have a great chance to double their win total from all of last year in Sonny Dykes’s second season as they face Sacramento State this weekend. An upset win at Northwestern last week has brought some excitement back to Berkeley that maybe this team could be on the rise of some sorts. Jared Goff was very efficient, throwing for 3 touchdowns, and the rest of the team played a pretty complete game. This week should get them to that elusive second win that evaded them all of last year.

    Berkeley will be celebrating with a win over an FCS team this week that gets Cal to 2 wins, already an improvement over last year. And this game won’t be close, with Goff putting up very big numbers and the defense making lots of big plays.
