Charlie Weis knows he’s on his last leg as the head coach of the Kansas Jayhawks, so it’s now or never to start winning. Luckily, he’s off to what should be an easy start against Southeast Missouri State, but since Kansas hasn’t played yet, we still don’t know what to expect. With a new offensive coordinator and a dual threat quarterback, the Jayhawks are a complete mystery, but this game Saturday will help us learn more about them.

    • Southeast Missouri State was 3-9 last year in FCS play but did open this season with a 77-0 win against Missouri Baptist. The Jayhawks will want to make sure they don’t have to many defensive woes this season, and some of that will show Saturday.

    Prediction

    Kansas will get off to an easy start to the season and handle the Redhawks pretty well. They may give up a score or two, but they’ll score a lot so it won’t be a problem.
