Video: Sesame Street Explains Texas Longhorns Loss To BYU
By Ben Nielsen
BYU quarterback Taysom Hill and his Cougars ran all over the Texas Longhorns on Sunday in what was a horrific performance for Charlie Strong’s team. Hill rushed for 99 yards and three touchdowns in the team’s 41-7 beating of the Longhorns on the road.
This isn’t the first time Hill has run all over the Longhorns. Last season the Cougars took down the Longhorns 40-21 in a game in which BYU set a school record for rushing yards in a game. It was enough to eventually cause the ouster of national championship head coach Mack Brown.
While BYU didn’t set any records on Saturday night they did rush for 248 yards and five touchdowns, while holding Texas to just 258 yards of total offense and forcing four turnovers.
The two-game streak against BYU has some Texas fans wondering if the team could use a little bit of help understanding what is going on on the field. The result is a simple video from Sesame Street character Grover explaining the concept of “over” “under” and “through.” Maybe a few spins through this video and the Texas defense will have a better understanding of what the problem is.
