10. MAC
In one setting, the MAC looked great last week. It scored two wins against Power Five teams with Central Michigan beating Purdue and Northern Illinois beating Northwestern, and Ball State, Massachusetts, and Akron all gave other Power Five teams headaches. But it’s not enough to overcome last week’s debacle or the rest of what happened this week.
Miami (Ohio) lost to Eastern Kentucky, Buffalo lost to Army, and in a MAC-Sun Belt Battle for the Worst Conference, South Alabama beat Kent State at Kent State. Face it, this is a bad conference.
