Saturday Blitz Vegas Big 12 Predictions Week 3

Saturday Blitz Record in Big 12 Predictions Last Week: 7-1 (14-2 Overall)

The Big 12 will certainly make up for last weekend’s boring outings. Every match-up except for two this weekend is against another Power Five teams, and they aren’t just against Power Five team. They are all against teams expecting to make a bowl and hoping to get into the Top 25 this year.

Talk about an exciting weekend. The thanks we owe the Big Ten last week for providing us with an exciting schedule, multiply it by 10 for the Big 12, who certainly didn’t run from competition. And hopefully the Big 12 will be more competitive than the Big Ten was last week. Either way, this is the conference to watch over the weekend.

Currently, the Big 12 is a two-horse race between Oklahoma and Baylor, but a few teams have a great chance to make the conference more interesting with so many marquee games this weekend. If the Big 12 has a strong showing, it could move up significantly in the conference power rankings as well, not just have a big shake-up in its own power rankings.

More from Baylor Bears

There are also non-conference rivalry match-ups that will make this weekend exciting, including Maryland-West Virginia and Iowa-Iowa State. Add Arkansas-Texas Tech, which was once a rivalry and should be a continuing one, and there is a lot of pride that will be involved in these games this weekend.

Oklahoma-Tennessee is a big night game between two programs who are among the best in tradition and fan bases in college football history, even if the two programs are in completely different stages right now. Texas-UCLA is a similar game. Both are at the same time.

So make sure you stay in front of the television Saturday from noon until around midnight, and keep your eye on the Big 12 games. Hopefully, you won’t be disappointed.
