Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns at No. 14 Ole Miss Rebels
Line: Ole Miss by 27.5
After one slow half to start the season against Boise State, Hugh Freeze, Bo Wallace, and the rest of the Ole Miss Rebels have looked every bit as good as they were hyped up to be. Now coming to town is a low-level Sun Belt team in Louisiana-Lafayette as the Rebels look to continue their offensive clinic. In order to win this game, Freeze will likely want to continue to rely on a very good passing game to overwhelm the Ragin’ Cajuns.
Louisiana-Lafeyette, meanwhile, has a decent and balanced offense that could put up some long drives and score points to keep this close, so Ole Miss needs to be aware of that. They’ll be looking to do that and force some turnovers if they are going to come away with a major upset.
Prediction
The Ragin’ Cajuns will not put up a fight. Ole Miss is too talented, and despite going up against a pretty good offense, the Rebels have looked more like an SEC team on defense than anybody else in the SEC. It will show on Saturday.
