20. Clemson Tigers: 1-1 (0-0), Idle Last Saturday

Last Week’s Position: No. 23

The Tigers still belong in the Top 25 after their blowout over South Carolina State two Saturdays ago, but for right now, Georgia’s loss to South Carolina is not a great look for them. With a big game against Florida State coming up, they could shoot up the rankings.

18. Michigan State Spartans: 1-1 (0-0), Idle Last Saturday

Last Week’s Position: No. 24

The Michigan State Spartans have a much-needed off-week to regroup, but they still belong in the Top 25 for right now because Oregon is not a bad loss. With the way upsets have been happening, they still aren’t out of the playoff race.

17. Kansas State Wildcats: 2-0 (1-0), Idle Last Saturday

Last Week’s Position: No. 20

The Wildcats look a lot better after the Iowa State Cyclones beat the Iowa Hawkeyes this past Saturday. Now, with a big game against Auburn on Thursday, they have a great chance to move up these rankings.

16. Georgia Bulldogs: 1-1 (0-1), Lost to South Carolina 38-35 Last Saturday

Last Week’s Position: No. 4

The Georgia Bulldogs suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Gamecocks last Saturday, but the season is not over for them by any means. The Gamecocks will likely lose again, so the Dawgs will still probably have control of their own destiny to reach the playoff.
