Cal-Arizona and Utah-Michigan Highlight Vegas Pac 12 Predictions for Week 4
Saturday Blitz Vegas Pac 12 Predictions Week 4
Hawaii Rainbow Warriors at Colorado Buffaloes
Line: Colorado by 8
The Buffaloes might be back after all. 1-2 is not a good look, but they didn’t look too bad against Arizona State last week and could very easily be 2-1. Unfortunately, they have a very weak defense, but the offense has shown it can put up points with Sefo Liufau at quarterback. This weekend, they’ll want to use him a lot against a Hawaii pass defense that is very suspect. If Liufau can play the way he’s been playing, the Buffaloes defense finally gets a break against a Hawaii offense that is ranked 94th in points scored. Perhaps they can show up a little bit this weekend.

Hawaii, meanwhile, has improved on offense each week, but still doesn’t look great. This is a chance for Ikaika Woolsey to make a name for himself this week in the passing game, which Norm Chow loves to rely on. If he can play well against a bad Colorado defense, then the Hawaii defense should be able to force a few mistakes even with a struggling pass defense. Doing that will allow them to come away with the upset, but it depends on how consistent the offense is. That may or may not be a great sign depending on which offense shows up.
Prediction
Hawaii will play Colorado close early in the game, but it won’t be enough to pull out the win. The Rainbow Warriors don’t have the defense to keep up with Colorado’s newfound passing game, and that will show as the game drags on. By the fourth quarter Colorado will have control of it.
