Saturday Blitz Vegas ACC Predictions Week 4

Maine Black Bears at Boston College Eagles

So Boston College might not have a drop-off year after all. The Eagles looked as great as ever running the football in their upset win against USC last week, coming a week after a 30-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Panthers. Now they face a Maine team that is 1-1 in FCS play but has one thing that could be the Eagles’ kryptonite: a deadly rush defense. BC can’t take this team lightly with their style of play, and Tyler Murphy will have to complete a few passes through the air if the Eagles are to avoid a scare. Otherwise, this could be a very interesting head-scratcher that we all tune into late in the fourth quarter.

  • Maine will want to play it’s game, but it also has to find a way to score. That’s been an issue on the year so far, but fortunately, Boston College doesn’t have an eye-popping defense, which could once again make this interesting.

    Prediction

Boston College may have a little trouble in the run game, but it will still reel off a few big plays and get its numbers, and Maine won’t be able to move at all on the Eagles’ defense. Expect an ugly game that turns into an easy win for BC.
