Colorado vs. Hawaii Game Information

facebooktwitterreddit

This is a game between two teams who are desperately trying to prove that they are on the way back to playing winning football. Colorado could easily be 2-1 right now and played a top 25 team in Arizona State much closer than anybody would have expected them to. The Buffaloes unfortunately blew a lead late in the game to Colorado State in the opener to lose 31-17. But they still have shown they can compete with some of the better teams. Their biggest issue is defense, as they’re ranked 106th in the country in points allowed, giving up 35.7 per game. That has to change for them going forward.

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors are on their last leg with Norm Chow and looked like they would be in good shape after just barely losing to Oregon State and Washington to open the season. But now the concern is back after only a 3-point win against Northern Iowa last Saturday. Colorado will be a good measuring stick to determine where the Rainbow Warriors are this season and what their chances are of reaching a bowl game.
