Oklahoma Sooners are being tested in Morganstown by the West Virginia Mountaineers. Tested so much, in fact, that they felt the need to run a trick play in the red zone in order to score.
It worked.
Behold a nice little reverse pass for six.
Durron Neal’s touchdown pass to Trevor Knight represents the Sooners only touchdown through a quarter and a half. West Virginia has been very good on defense minus a 38 yard run by Samaje Perine and a 31 yard reception by Sterling Shepard. Otherwise things have been stagnate for Oklahoma.
West Virginia has taken advantage of this a built a 17-10 lead in the second quarter. Clint Trickett has two touchdown passes, including a 68-yard touchdown pass to Kevin white at the end of the first quarter.
