Utah, Arizona, and Oregon State Moving Up in Week 4 Pac 12 Power Rankings
Saturday Blitz Pac 12 Power Rankings Week 4
2. UCLA Bruins, 3-0 (0-0), Idle Last Saturday
Yes, the Bruins have looked ugly en route to their 3-0 record right now, but hey, none of these wins look bad right now. Virginia has played every team tough so far and lost to BYU by the same amount they lost to UCLA by. BYU may have blown out Texas, but they didn’t lose their quarterback.
Brett Hundley appears to be ready to go for Thursday, although that’s up in the air, and with a full two weeks of preparation, Jerry Neuheisel should be fine behind center if he has to go. The Bruins are still loaded across the field when it comes to talent, and this game against Arizona State is their perfect chance to finally have a complete game.
As far as the other two wins, once again, the quarterback situation excuses the close win against Texas. And Memphis is all of a sudden looking like a very competitive football team that will surprise a lot of people this year. Justin Fuente is a great offensive mind who helped turn TCU into a powerhouse program, so it looks like he’s finally in the process of turning around the Tigers. All three games, surprisingly, are quality wins for the Bruins, which puts them at No. 2 on this list for now.
