Oregon vs. Arizona Live Stream, Game Info
This is a battle between two undefeated Pac 12 teams, with one team getting a lot more respect than the other for its undefeated record to this point.
Arizona won its last game against Cal of an incredibly lucky Hail Mary, but overall their 4-0 record has raised lots of questions as they are coming off of a bye week. Rich Rodriguez’s offense with the Wildcats have looked like the West Virginia offenses he used to coach, but the defense, and particularly the secondary, has looked flat out pathetic. That defense will have to find some magical way to improve very quickly if the Wildcats are to pull of this upset. On offense, the amazing trio of Any Solomon at quarterback, Nick Wilson at running back, and Cayleb Jones at wide receiver have to keep doing what they have been doing. They’ll want to turn this game into a shootout that Oregon fans are used to seeing.
Oregon is also coming off of a bye week, though, and have raised some questions about how good their defense actually is. They have a great win against Michigan State, and struggling against Washington State is not a terrible look since the Cougars are getting better, but those defensive issues could surface against such a high-scoring Arizona offense Thursday. If this game becomes a shootout, then it will once again be up to Marcus Mariota to play incredibly efficient football for the Ducks to win. He’s proven already that he can do that, but it will be more crucial this week because the Wildcats look unstoppable right now. For any sort of breathing room, the Ducks need to force a couple of turnovers too. Otherwise, this could get interesting, even if it is in Oregon.
