Saturday Blitz Vegas SEC Predictions Week 6
Saturday Blitz Record in SEC Predictions Last Week: 6-1 (43-6 Overall)
We all waited for this weekend. After five okay Saturdays of SEC football with a few exciting match-ups scattered here and there, the real fun begins this weekend. As we get set for our Week 6 Vegas SEC Predictions, Saturday’s SEC slate is far and way the best slate of any conference in college football right now.
You could simply be satisfied by watching those games, but Mike Slive owes us this after so many bad games to start the year. Finally, we have what we expected from the loaded SEC. There are three match-ups between Top 25 teams, including two between undefeated teams, and a huge rivalry game that still has some luster. All six games on the conference slate are divisional games, and four of them are must-sees while the other two could still be entertaining.

Obviously, the games between the undefeated teams stand out. We start with Texas A&M and Mississippi State at noon, two teams who are better than anybody expected them to be this year and are now right in the thick of the SEC Championship and College Football Playoff races. A battle between these two undefeated teams will reveal just how good each of them are. Alabama and Ole Miss is the 3:30 game, another battle between undefeated teams. These two teams came in with high expectations, and now Ole Miss gets its first test while Alabama can prove if its as dominant as in years past.
The night game is also a can’t-miss with LSU and Auburn. LSU may have a loss, but the Tigers are still in the SEC West race, and a win against Auburn is a way to get them back on track. Auburn, meanwhile, gets another chance to prove that it’s not going anywhere. Vanderbilt-Georgia and South Carolina-Kentucky are still two intriguing SEC East match-ups as well, so that makes for five games worth tuning into.
And then there’s Tennessee-Florida. Once upon a time a rivalry that stopped the entire college football world, this rivalry appears to have lost its luster with both teams unranked and Florida having won nine straight in the series. But make no mistake, it’s a huge game for both teams. They both need it for momentum the rest of the season, and both teams still want to beat each other. It may have fallen from CBS primetime to a noon SEC Network game, but it’s still one you will want to tune into if you have any appreciation for college football tradition.
So with an amazing slate of games to talk about, here are our Week 6 Vegas SEC Predictions.
