Reilly Gibbons decided that the Miami Hurricanes were the school for him and appeared to be a firm commitment for some time. Reilly Gibbons, however, had a last minute change of heart, committing to the Stanford Cardinal just before signing day.
His stay on the west coast didn’t last long – Reilly Gibbons is heading back to Florida and will enroll at South Florida.
“We’re a really tight family and he got home sick and wanted to come back,” Shannon Gibbons said via Rodney Page of The Tampa Bay Times. “USF was the perfect place for him. They are happy to have him.”
