Alabama vs. Ole Miss Game Info
Alabama Crimson Tide at Ole Miss Rebels
With the Mississippi schools dying to show how well they play football in the Magnolia State, Ole Miss fans have to be ecstatic about the weekend. Gameday is coming to town for the first time ever. The Grove is going to be packed. Fans will rightfully be pumped about showing the world that Ole Miss is a legitimate team.
But Alabama will have other goals in mind. Coming off of a bye week, the Tide are more of an offensive-heavy team, and how that stacks up against the Rebels will be the key to the ballgame. If they can move the ball on what is considered to be a great Rebels defense, then this game is over. But if Lane Kiffin’s offense sputters, there could be some trouble for the Tide.
Ole Miss wants to prove its defense is legitimate, but the first order of business is making sure Bo Wallace doesn’t make too many mistakes. Too often Wallace has shrunk on the big stage, and too often this year has committed bad turnovers. For the Rebels to win this time, he has to avoid that and simply make sure he gets the ball to his playmakers.
