Kentucky has only suffered a triple overtime loss to the Florida Gators and are fresh off of a comeback victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks, making them a real contender in the SEC East.
Under second-year head coach Mark Stoops, Kentucky has already brought a lot more talent into the program.
They proved that again over the weekend when the Dowell brothers, Andrew and David, gave their pledges to Kentucky. The brothers are from Lakewood, Ohio and attend St. Edward High School. Andrew is a 6’1, 211-pound 4-Star running back back while David is a 6’1, 180-pound safety.
The duo committed to the Northwestern Wildcats back in April but decommitted in July.
The Boston College Eagles and Cincinnati Bearcats were also very interested in the pair.
