Saturday Blitz Vegas SEC Predictions Week 7

Chattanooga Mocs at Tennessee Volunteers

Tennessee had to play this game this weekend. The Vols are way down on themselves after losing yet another game to Florida, and they need to regroup because right now there is no momentum. The offensive line has got to start playing better. The defense has great stars in A.J. Johnson, Cameron Sutton, and Jalen Reeves-Maybin, and the offense has great skill guys in Jalen Hurd and Marquez North along with a decent quarterback in Justin Worley. But the line has got to tune up if this team is going to do anything the rest of the year.

Chattanooga, meanwhile, should be 4-0 in FCS games, so don’t consider this team just an easy pushover. Tennessee has got to improve on the line against this team, and the Mocs are going to want to constantly send pressure after Worley in hopes the line can’t pick it up. That could be problematic for Tennessee, however sight a chance.

Prediction

Chattanooga will frustrate the Vols offense at times, but it won’t matter at all. The defense won’t let this team score on it, and the offense will still do enough to put up points, so Tennessee will have an easy win. It is also going to be a crucial win, though, as the Vols attempt to regain momentum.

Tennessee: 38 Chattanooga: 3
