Hugh Freeze and the Ole Miss Rebels earned their biggest win in years upsetting Nick Saban and his mighty Ole Miss Rebels 23-17 in Oxford last week.

One ESPN analyst is giving Hugh Freeze a majority of the credit. Kirk Herbstreit of College Gameday believes Freeze outcoached Saban.

“If you haven’t seen Ole Miss play, you think well, Hugh Freeze, wasn’t he coaching high school football? What’s he doing? He out-coached Alabama and Nick Saban last week in the fourth quarter,” Herbstreit explained via J.C. Shurtburtt of 24/7 Sports. “He’s going to try to create that same momentum as they get ready to take on, I think, a reeling Texas A&M defense that’s determined to play much better than they played in this stadium a week ago.”

Freeze has work cut out for him again – the third-ranked Rebels will be in College State to take on Kevin Sumlin and the 14th-ranked Texas A&M Aggies Saturday night (9:00 pm EST, ESPN).
