After improving to 6-0 with a 50-43 win over the North Carolina Tar Heels, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish landed a commitment from 3-Star weak-side defensive end/outside linebacker Bo Wallace.

“I had a really good time,” Wallace told Tom Loy of 24/7 Sports when asked about his visit to South Bend in June. “It was nice getting shown around campus and seeing all the tradition and how much Notre Dame has won in the past. The campus was really nice. I liked it a lot. It was also cool seeing the room with all the Heisman trophies.

“Notre Dame doesn’t just say that I should come play ball here because they want me on the field. They stress life after football and how it’s a lifetime decision. It’s not really about right now, but down the road in life. That really impressed my parents, too. I could tell.”

Bo Wallace attends John Curtis Christian High School (Joe McKnight, Malachi Dupre) in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is the country’s 31st-ranked defensive end prospect, the 20th-ranked overall prospect in the state of Louisiana and the 443rd-ranked prospect in the class of 2015 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

Bo Wallace is Notre Dame’s 19th commitment. Their class ranks 11th nationally.
