The UCLA Bruins have had a rough couple of weeks.
First, they missed a potential game-winning field goal and lost to the Utah Utes 30-28. Then, Saturday, they were blown out by the Oregon Ducks 42-30 (It was 42-10 Oregon in the fourth quarter).
The UCLA Bruins, however, got a big win on Monday night when 4-Star outside linebacker Cassius Peat gave his pledge to Jim Mora’s squad.
The 6’4, 235-pound Peat is from Tempe, Arizona and attends Corona Del Sol High School. He is the country’s 26th-ranked outside linebacker prospect, the third-ranked prospect in the state of Arizona and the 323rd-ranked prospect in the class of 2015 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Peat chose the UCLA Bruins over offers from hometown Arizona State Sun Devils, Michigan State Spartans, Oklahoma Sooners and Oregon Ducks, among others.
He made his decision via twitter.
The UCLA Bruinsnow have 14 commitments, headlined by 5-Star quarterback Josh Rosen.
