With running back Karlos Williams out with an injury, Mario Pender got his first career start in the Florida State Seminoles’ 38-20 victory over the Syracuse Orange on Saturday.
Mario Pender played well, scoring on both a touchdown run and a touchdown pass. However, he was injured and left the game. He’d return but didn’t look the same. Now, it looks like the Seminoles will be without their No.2 running back when they take on the fifth-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday night.
Karlos Williams will be back and 5-Star freshman Dalvin Cook is fresh off of his first 100-yard game.
