Miami Hurricanes, LSU Tigers To Meet in Arlington in 2018

The Miami Hurricanes and LSU Tigers have scheduled a game in 2018 – they will meet in Arlington, Texas in the Cowboys Classic

The LSU Tigers and Miami Hurricanes will meet in the Cowboys Classic in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys, in 2018.

This game has been in the works for some time and they finally made the deal official.

“These are the types of games that our fans want to see and they will be a huge benefit to our football program and our university,” LSU athletic director Joe Alleva said in a statement. “The Cowboys Classic is a great event and gives us an opportunity to showcase LSU football in the premier NFL venue in an area that is one of our biggest alumni bases outside Louisiana.”

Miami has not played in this game yet but their in-state rivals have (or will). The Florida State Seminoles beat the Oklahoma State Cowboys in this year’s agme and the Florida Gators will take on the Michigan Wolverines in 2017.

LSU has played twice, beating the Oregon Ducks in 2011 and the TCU Horned Frogs in 2013.
