had a huge weekend.
Led by quarterback Clint Tricket, West Virginia upset the previously unbeaten and fourth-ranked Baylor Bears 41-27 on Saturday, there biggest win in years.
West Virginia also had a great day on the recruiting trail, landing a big commitment when defensive end Adam Shuler committed to the Mountaineers.
“I chose West Virginia because it just felt right,” Shuler told BlueGoldNews.com. “Everything seemed like it fit me.”
The 6’5, 255-pound Adam Shuler is from Longwood, Florida and attends Lyman High School. He committed to West Virginia over offers from Appalachian State, Ball State, Cincinnati and Indiana. He took his official visit two West Virginia two weeks ago and obviously liked what they have to offer.
He made his announcement via twitter.
