Here comes another round of SEC games. After last weekend was filled with a few too many blowouts in the conference, maybe this weekend will bring us something better. We’ve now at least somewhat separated the teams in the conference based on the eye test and merit, so hopefully Saturday can contribute to that.

Despite the SEC dominating the Top 25 as much as ever, the slate on Saturday isn’t going to be what it was at the beginning of October, but who could ever get that? There is still a lot of SEC football left to be played, and we’ll find out a lot more about quite a few teams in the conference after this weekend.

More from Alabama Crimson Tide

Ole Miss-LSU is obviously the game worth tuning into as we try to determine just how dominant the Rebels are and if the Tigers are returning to the powerhouse team we thought they were. Mississippi State has no easy road with Kentucky since that game is in Lexington, and South Carolina-Auburn could potentially get interesting.

Finally, you’ve got what was traditionally one of the SEC’s biggest rivalries going head-to-head in Tennessee-Alabama. Regardless of how bad or good either team is, this game can still bring you some thrillers. Any college football historian can tell you that, and Lane Kiffin’s return to Knoxville makes this more intriguing.

So there is a lot to be excited about this Saturday in SEC country, and here are our predictions for all of them. Enjoy our Vegas SEC Predictions for Week 9 of the college football season.
