UAB Blazers at Arkansas Razorbacks

Line: Arkansas by 23.5

Poor Arkansas can’t catch a break. The Razorbacks have shown how dramatically improved they are, but in a year when that happens they’re forced to play in the toughest division in college football history, all but assuring them six losses, and then they have to play the two best teams from the other division. Fortunately, though, this week they at least have a chance to get back on track with UAB coming to town. Bret Bielema needs to focus on running a lot and playing power football, the way he has done all year, and it shouldn’t be a problem for the Razorbacks to pull out this win.

    • UAB, though, is all of a sudden not a terrible Conference-USA team at 4-3. The Blazers have a very balanced offense that is averaging more than 37 points per game, and that offense is going to have to put up some points against a tough Arkansas defense. If they can find a way to take away the run game, this could get interesting.

    Prediction

    UAB will not take away the run game. Arkansas will have no trouble stopping the Blazers offense either. Let’s not kid ourselves. This game won’t be close. The Razorbacks are going to win in a blowout as they run it down UAB’s throat all game.
