Vegas ACC Predictions Week 9 Highlighted by Georgia Tech-Pittsburgh
Welcome to standard ACC play: a bunch of above average teams going at it to reach the postseason. Okay, so that’s not all this conference is. We can at least say it’s very deep with a plethora of teams who could make a bowl game this year and a large number of teams that could reach the Top 25. And there are still a few, believe it or not, who are in ACC Title contention.
That makes this weekend’s games all the more intriguing. Even without Florida State or Duke playing, there are plenty of match-ups worth paying attention to, and four of the five games could have significant bowl game implications. So that makes this weekend’s version of ACC games still intriguing.

Having Virginia Tech and Miami play on a Thursday night is going to be incredibly exciting. The Hokies appear to be on a downward slide, while the Hurricanes appear to slowly be finding their rhythm. Then, Georgia Tech and Pittsburgh on Saturday is another game between two teams at least fighting to be in the upper-echelon of the ACC. North Carolina-Virginia gives us the same situation.
In short, there are lots of exciting ACC games worth tuning into this week, even if this isn’t a great conference. And there is such a hugh amount of parity in the ACC, that all of our predictions could be dead wrong.
With the hope that doesn’t happen, here are our Vegas ACC predictions for Week 9.
