Vegas Big Ten Predictions Week 9: Every Game Matters
After such a bad start to the season, admit it. You’re kind of intrigued by Big Ten football right now, aren’t you? And you should be. There are four 1-loss teams that could all eventually be making a case to be in the college football playoff race. And all of them play this weekend, with two of them on the road.
The Big Ten appears to be a bit like the ACC, only better, with a bunch of solid teams in the conference that could beat each other but not very great at the top. Still, there are some teams worth believing in, and the slate of games this Saturday will tell us more about all of them. Every game is interesting.

Starting out the slate with Minnesota-Illinois and Maryland-Wisconsin is good enough. The Golden Gophers are 6-1 and trying to prove they are elite, and the Fighting Illini are 3-4 and trying to not be the worst team in the conference. Then you have Rutgers-Nebraska, with both teams trying to prove they’re not pretenders but on different levels. And finally, you have Michigan-Michigan State, where anything can happen due to it being an in-state rivalry, and Ohio State-Penn State.
All of these games could be blowouts, but they’re all intriguing at the same time. It is honestly hard to pick the best games to watch because of that. But we think you should simply watch all of them.
And for those games, here are our Week 9 Vegas Big Ten Predictions.
