Saturday Blitz Vegas Prediction:

Georgia Bulldogs

Don’t sleep on this game. Georgia should be the far better team, but we know their tendency to fold in crucial moments under Mark Richt. This definitely qualifies as a crucial moment.

But we’re still rolling with the Dawgs in this one, giving them a fourth straight win in the rivalry.

Georgia’s defense is starting to play as well as any defense in all of college football. That’s enough for us to trust them against a pathetic, and I mean seriously pathetic, Florida Gators offense.

Meanwhile, although Florida’s defense is pretty good, Hutson Mason is very efficient at quarterback without a lot of arm strength, and Nick Chubb has been a fine replacement for Gurley. The combination of the two will be enough for the Dawgs to pick up a few touchdowns, and they won’t turn the ball over the entire game.

Georgia simply has far too much to play for this weekend for us to start betting against them. True, they always slip up somewhere, but they finally have the psychological edge over the Gators, and Will Muschamp is in free fall as head coach. That will all result in a solid Georgia victory.

The Dawgs stay in the title hunt.
