Saturday Blitz Vegas Prediction:

Mississippi State Bulldogs

The Bulldogs are going to move to 8-0 on the year and keep their No. 1 ranking after this game, but it will be a bit of a struggle. Arkansas has a great system under Bret Bielema and will run the ball consistently with Jonathan Williams and Alex Collins in a way that the Bulldogs haven’t seen all year, even against Auburn.

That will keep things very interesting…for a half.

Mississippi State is just looking too loaded on offense for anybody to beat them right now, and the combination of Dak Prescott and Josh Robinson in Dan Mullen’s spread offense looks borderline invincible.

The Bulldogs are going to put up 40 points again over the weekend, as the Razorbacks have looked terrible against similar offenses. Don’t forget how the defense struggled against Auburn at the beginning of the season. That will be the difference in this game despite the fact that it will be interesting at the beginning.

Mississippi State is inching closer and closer to that undefeated mark, and with Alabama and Ole Miss still on the horizon, they still have to worry about looking ahead. We trust that they won’t.

The Bulldogs win at home.
