Big 12 Game of the Week

Line: TCU by 3.5

Saturday Blitz Vegas Prediction:

West Virginia Mountaineers

With no confidence whatsoever, we are going with the upset in Morgantown over the weekend. Let’s get it out there that we are not sure of this pick, and Trevone Boykin is more than capable of putting up huge stats again against such a suspect defense.

But West Virginia is on a huge roll right now and is very tough to beat at home. With that offensive line and the way Clint Trickett is playing, we have more faith in the WVU defense to stop TCU than we do in the TCU defense to stop WVU.

We are calling West Virginia’s defense suspect based on how it has defended the run all year, which could be a problem against TCU, but let’s also not forget the way it played against Baylor. This team clearly is just in some zone right now, and they are a very good team.

That’s enough for us to say that we believe the Mountaineers will pull this game off against the Horned Frogs and solidify their place among the Big 12 elites.

West Virginia wins a nail biter.
