Saturday Blitz Vegas Prediction:
Baylor Bears
Are we seriously going to question this game? Who is honestly picking the upset here? There is absolutely nothing to suggest that except for a miracle.
The Jayhawks are a program in complete disarray right now that started before the firing of Charlie Weis and has continued since his firing. This football team right now is as bad as it could possibly be.
There is no passing game, hardly any rushing attack, and barely any defense. That’s all going to come crashing down in the worst way when they play Baylor on Saturday.
The Bears have an explosive offense that will torch this Kansas defense at will, and the Baylor defense isn’t too shabby either. Not too shabby is enough to completely shut down Kansas’s offense.
How sure are we of this pick? Well, the question is whether or not you should take the 35.5-point spread, not who wins. And there’s a very good chance that Baylor covers that spread.
Simply don’t turn this game on. It will be a blowout from the start, and Baylor will never look back as they stay in the hunt for a Big 12 title.
