Wisconsin Badgers at Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Here is a game between two 5-win teams fighting for a potential spot in the Top 25.

Wisconsin appears to have finally found a decent passing game, as Joel Stave last week played well enough for the Badgers to throttle Maryland. If Stave can simply throw for 175 to 200 yards a game and have a high completion percentage, the Badger could roll over everybody behind the legs of Melvin Gordon. Make no mistake, Gordon is a superstar, and they’re going to need him again today if they want to come away with a victory.

Rutgers, meanwhile, has woken up a bit over the past two weeks against Ohio State and Nebraska, but at 5-3 they still have a chance to do some good things. The biggest key for them is to have Gary Nova step up and be the player he his capable of being, and they have got to avoid turning the ball over. This team is a very bad turnover-prone game away from being 6-2 right now. The defense obviously also has to step up and play a lot more physical as well if they are going to pul off this upset.

Unfortunately for Rutgers, Wisconsin’s physical play will likely be to much for this team to handle, so we have the Badgers pulling away in a pretty comfortable road win.
