Everett Golson, Quarterback, Notre Dame Fighting Irish- 18 of 25 for 315 Yards & 3 Touchdowns; 9 Carries for 33 Yards & 3 Touchdowns (Defeated Navy Midshipmen 49-39)

Notre Dame struggled all day against Navy and that crazy Navy offense. But they managed to stay in the College Football Playoff Thanks solely to Everett Golson. It’s time to start talking about this guy as a Heisman candidate after the way he played on Saturday.

Golson is keeping this this team in football games and willing the Irish to victory week after week. He should have them undefeated right now after they got robbed against Florida State, but they are still a Top 10 team thanks to the way he is playing. Brian Kelly has to be grateful he’s back in the lineup.

Golson had 6 total touchdowns on Saturday, 3 passing and 3 rushing. That’s incredible. He put on a better show than any actual Washington Redskins quarterback has put on in FedEx Field this year. It’s clear that Notre Dame is happy to have him back.

So is the rest of college football with the entertainment he has provided us this year. For that, we’re awarding him a spot on our Week 10 Blitz Points list.
