Jamison Crowder, Wide Receiver, Duke Blue Devils- 9 Receptions for 165 Yards & 2 Touchdowns (Defeated Pittsburgh Panthers 51-48 in 2 Overtimes)

A huge reason for Anthony Boone’s spot on our Blitz Points list is due to his go-to receiver from Saturday, Jamison Crowder. Before the game, it was advised that Duke focus on the running game a lot against Pittsburgh to pull out the victory on the road.

But in a stroke of genius, Duke coach David Cutcliffe turned to the passing game, and while Boone played well, it was Crowder catching the Bulk of his balls. The receiver played like a star and has earned the right to be recognize among the other elite ACC receivers. He came through every time Boone needed him and racked up stats all day.

Crowder started the day off right with a 39-yard touchdown reception to give the Blue Devils a 7-0 lead, and after Pittsburgh took its first lead, 21-14, he came through again with a 45-yard touchdown reception.

He came through in the biggest moments at receiver for Boone and the Duke offense, so we if we are going to put Boone on our Blitz Points list, we have to put him there as well.
