Well for this week, the SEC certainly brought us a huge shake-up in power rankings. And it wasn’t just among the top teams.
Upset wins by Tennessee and Florida, once the beasts of the SEC a little over a decade ago, forced us to completely rearrange the middle of the pack for our Week 10 SEC Power Rankings. But we found a way to put them together and bring them to you once again.
This week’s SEC power rankings still don’t answer enough questions about the conference, particularly in the SEC West, where it continues to prove itself to be historically great. Even without Alabama and LSU playing this week, there were some crazy events that happened over the weekend.

What is very clear is that the SEC is by far the toughest conference in college football right now, and there is no debate to the contrary. There are simply too many dominant teams to suggest otherwise, and it may seem like we’re beating a dead horse when we talk about how great it is, but it’s like the conference gets better and deeper each year.
What’s more, as our power rankings will show you, the conference also has teams that we thought were bad but are starting to play well together. That’s something to take into account when considering the depth of this conference.
Let’s see just how deep it is in the Week 10 SEC Power Rankings.
