Saturday Blitz Vegas Big Ten Prediction: Penn State Wins 38-17

Penn State players laid an egg last week. Seriously. How could you let the Maryland Terrapins disrespect you like that with not shaking your hands to start the game, have a 2-score lead late in the game, and still manage to lose? We like James Franklin here, but that was embarrassing.

The Nittany Lions will get back on a roll this weekend against Indiana. The Hoosiers are looking more and more like the worst team in the Big Ten each week despite the fact that they have a superstar running back. Kevin Wilson’s team has no passing game, and it certainly plays no defense.

Even Christian Hackenberg, in this current funk he’s stuck in, could have a nice day against the Indiana defense, and that’s exactly what he’s going to do. Penn State will rack up yards with no trouble and pick up a blowout win. The Hoosiers have no chance the rest of the year. It’s pretty clear that their win over Missouri at the beginning of the year is the biggest fluke of the season so far.

And they have woken up since then. The reality continues on Saturday.
