Saturday Blitz Vegas ACC Prediction: Georgia Tech Wins 34-10

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets could be kicking themselves over the fact that they aren’t undefeated right now. But this is still a very good team, and Paul Johsnon’s efficient triple-option offense is as good as it has ever been. That combined with the fact that Georgia Tech has taken very good care of the football this year except for one game is enough for us to say they’ll win comfortably against a pretty suspect N.C. State team.

The Wolfpack are clearly better in Dave Doeren’s second year and will likely make a bowl game, but they still have not beaten anybody. This team still doesn’t have the horses to come close to competing with Georgia Tech, and that offense will will be far too much for them to be able to handle.

Justin Thomas will have a passing touchdown somewhere in the game, and he will run for 100 yards, the team as a whole gains 300 yards on the ground, and the defense will hold the N.C. State offense to a rough day. The Wolfpack will make a few nice plays, but this will be out of reach by the third quarter.

Georgia Tech gets an easy win.
