Each week, the SEC continues to show us why it is the toughest conference in college football, especially the SEC West. Once again last week, we had a dramatic finish in the SEC West among two elite teams between Ole Miss and Auburn. That has changed the landscape of the conference now, and it throws a wrench in our process as we bring you our Week 11 Vegas SEC Predictions.
LSU is miraculously back in the SEC West race thanks to that Auburn win. Alabama is back in control of its own destiny. And Auburn now has to pull for Alabama to start winning games in a major twist. Of course, it was Auburn that did Alabama a favor by beating Ole Miss.
It’s situations like these that make the month of November a crucial month for SEC football, and it’s going to be an exciting second week this Saturday. With everything we just mentioned, this Alabama-LSU game is huge for everybody except for Mississippi State, who is simply standing above everybody. But all five teams could have a stake in this game depending on how the season plays out.

Did you think we were done there? Hopefully not. The SEC East is a bit interesting itself. Georgia has fallen out of first in that division, and if it wants to have any shot of returning, it absolutely has to beat Kentucky on the road this weekend. Florida has found a rhythm, though, and gets to test that to a certain extent against Vanderbilt. And now Texas A&M has to deal with Auburn in a game that will test what improvements the Aggies have made.
Unfortunately, Ole Miss and Mississippi State don’t play anybody noteworthy, and as a result, the games this weekend give us no indication of how the rest of the season will play out. But it’s going to be interesting to see.
So with that disappointing reality, here are our Vegas SEC Predictions for Week 11 of the college football season.
