SEC Power Rankings Week 11: Texas A&M Rises, Auburn and LSU Fall

All of a sudden, these power rankings just got a lot harder to do. With Texas A&M’s upset over Auburn, Georgia losing to Florida last week but destroying Kentucky this week, and a few other inconsistencies that have taken place, the rankings got a little bit jumbled. Okay, that’s an understatement. They got incredibly jumbled.

As we get set to bring you our SEC Power Rankings following Week 11 of the college football season, the conference that wasn’t supposed to have the most exciting slate this past weekend caught us off-guard with two amazing games. And as a result, we were forced to drop Auburn, whom we have loved all year, quite a few spots down.

  • But what was larger was the jump that we gave the Texas A&M Aggies for pulling off such an amazing upset against the Tigers on the road, by hook or crook.

    Obviously, we’ve now got Alabama and Mississippi State as our clear-cut Top Two teams, and how epic is it that they get to play each other this Saturday? What is more clear this week is that we are now forced to give even more love to the SEC West because Texas A&M has to be thrown back in the mix.

    So with what it very clearly the deepest conference in all of college football, here are our SEC Power Rankings.
