Miami Hurricanes 6-3 (3-2)

Last week: Idle
Last rank: 6

The Miami Hurricanes have been improving on a week to week basis since the beginning of the year with their freshman quarterback. Now, coming off of a bye week, we get to see just how improved this team is as it plays Florida State this week in a game that could define the future of the program under Al Golden.

Brad Kaaya has gotten much better all year, Duke Johnson is a superstar, and that defense is great. Altogether, this is a very different team than the one that lost to Louisville at the beginning of the season. And it’s a team that has recruited well, has more talent coming in, and is gaining experience as time goes on. The momentum for the season can begin to skyrocket with the upcoming schedule.

Obviously, a home game against Florida State is an amazing opportunity to do something amazing. But if they just put on a respectable showing, it should be enough as they close the season out against Pittsburgh and Virginia. Both should be win for this team to get to 8-4.
