Virginia Tech Hokies 4-5 (1-4)

Last week: Idle
Last rank: 12

Talk about a program in turmoil The bye week was desperately needed for these Virginia Tech Hokies after simply falling apart. At this point, who would ever think that these guys beat the Ohio State Buckeyes earlier in the season. How that ever happened is a huge mystery.

The first reason for the struggles was Michael Brewer’s inability to make plays without making crucial mistakes. Now, he has eliminated the crucial mistakes, and this team is still losing. These guys just have some problems and can’t stay consistent. And going forward the rest of the season, a bowl game could be tough.

Sure, Wake Forest at home should be a win, but that’s only 5 wins. Duke on the road and Virginia at home are still two very tough games, and that Virginia game at the end of the year could be a fight to see who goes bowling. Essentially, this team is a lot worse than we originally thought.
