Saturday Blitz Vegas SEC Prediction: South Carolina wins 22-17

This pick is going way out on a limb, especially based on our score, when Florida is favored by 7. But the Gators are still not that good and they are also still very poorly coached on offense. They have only one play, and that style threw Georgia off while Vanderbilt isn’t good enough to stop it.

You don’t think the Ol’ Ball Coach will be able to draw up something to stop it coming off a bye week, even with an underachieving team? Of course he can. And he will.

Steve Spurrier will remind us that this is still a Will Muschamp-led Florida team, and South Carolina is now desperate to get to a bowl game so they have to start winning these games. We’re putting our faith in them to pull it out. The 3-4 defense will finally gel and have an easy time stopping that draw play that Treon Harris constantly runs.

And the offense will do enough for a very ugly victory.
