Welcome to SEC Football in November. You thought the season was crazy enough as it is? Well this past weekend simply made it insane. In any game featuring a Top 25 team on the slate, the higher ranked team lost.

That made the conference four for four ranked upsets. But we’re not done there. How about the fact that the two games featuring all unranked teams both had the lower team in the SEC Standings winning?

Oh, and the conference just claimed its first late season coaching victim with the announcement that Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp will step down at the end of the season.

All of this dramatically shook up our Week 12 SEC Power Rankings as we get set to bring you to them. The entire conference has been thrown for a loop, and head-to-head is now extremely hard to figure out.

So where do we go from here? The conference now has two teams with legitimate chances at a national championship and another three that have an outside shot. Five teams are in the SEC Championship race right now still.

And we have two weeks left to play. Think another dramatic shake-up could be on the way? Possibly.

Of course, the biggest game of the weekend featured No. 1 Mississippi State going down. It also featured two ranked teams losing to unranked teams one at home. And there was an ever-elusive conference win that one team finally got.

So with a major shake-up that might have actually signified the restoration of order in the conference at the top and the bottom, here are our Week 12 SEC Power Rankings.
