We hope you enjoyed what was probably the most exciting weekend all year in ACC football. Another one like that is probably not coming for a while. And while we still have a good idea of where teams stand as we bring you our Week 12 ACC Power Rankings, it’s important to bring up the fact that there was finally a bit of a shake-up.
And that hasn’t happened for weeks.
Georgia Tech’s dominating victory over Clemson was surprising enough. Duke’s loss to Virginia Tech isn’t as shocking when you consider the talent level of both teams, but when you consider the way they have played this year it is.

And Florida State’s great escape this time was against a good team that we are going to give credit to. The Seminoles likely took Miami more seriously than the other teams they have played, and yet Miami still gave them a fight until the very end.
All in all, it was an exciting weekend for ACC football that definitely shook up the top of our conference power rankings and a couple of spots at the bottom. However, we still know who the clear-cut top team is.
And with that anti-climactic fact, here are our ACC Power Rankings following Week 12 of the college football season.
