Arizona Wildcats 8-2 (5-2)

Last week: Defeated Washington Huskies 27-26
Last rank: 5

The Arizona Wildcats just squeaked by on Saturday, but a win is a win, and these guys are 8-2 and still ever so slightly in the Pac-12 Championship race. With a massive amount of luck, they could also be in the College Football Playoff race, so they’re not done yet.

Rich Rodriguez’s team still has a heck of a lot to play for, and losses to USC and UCLA are nothing to be ashamed of, especially win you still have the most impressive win of the year.

The Wildcats have great offensive weapons in Anu Solomon, Nick Jones, Terris Jones-Grigsby, and Cayleb Jones. But they are supposed to have a great defense as well with players like Scooby Wright on the defensive line, though. That unit got torched on Saturday, however, giving up more than 500 yards of offense and was lucky to squeak out a win. But it was a win, nonetheless. And the Wildcats still have stuff to play for, however tough it might be.
