But the defense has come through when needed as well, the way it did against the Arizona Wildcats. And close wins against California and Washington proved this team knows how to win.</p>
<p>Controlling its own destiny as a 2-loss team, UCLA has to hope for at least four of the seven one-loss teams to lose. The Bruins could contribute by winning out, which would assure Oregon being knocked off. Then, they need a bit more help.
