Saturday Blitz Vegas ACC Prediction: Pittsburgh Wins 34-10

Pittsburgh was put in some serious postseason trouble after losing last week and falling to 4-6. But their hopes are still ever-so-slightly alive, and they will need to pull out the next two games to have a chance. Saturday should be easy. The Panthers are loaded with talent and have simply made too many mistakes as an extremely young team to be better than they are.

But Paul Chryst should have no trouble coaching a blowout win against the Orange. Syracuse has had pathetic quarterback play all year, going through multiple players, and Pitt should have no trouble blowing up that offense and wreaking havoc. Meanwhile, as long as Chad Voytik keeps playing and developing the way he has over the past few weeks, James Conner should have no trouble torching this Syracuse defense, which is actually not bad but will be tired from being on the field too long.

In short, Pitt will move to 5-6 in an easy win against the second to worst team in the ACC, and they’ll need to find a way to beat Miami on the road to be bowl eligible after that.
