Saturday Blitz Vegas ACC Prediction: Clemson Wins 31-3

This is another one of those classic times when we ask if we really need to analyze this game. Are we really needed to determine who is going to pull out a victory between a Top 25 team and one of the worst teams in FBS play? Are we really in need of saying a thing about this game? Very well. Here’s the most interesting part: Clemson won’t win by 40 the way they are predicted.

Coming off of a terrible loss to Georgia Tech, yes, they will be angry and want to drop a lot of points. But unfortunately, they have Cole Stoudt starting at quarterback. And while the quarterback is efficient and can do just enough to win games, he can’t ever put up big numbers. That’s what we determined. So Dabo Swinney’s Tigers will put up enough points for a blowout, and the defense will shut down the Panthers offense.

But it won’t be the 40-point whopping fans want to see. In fact, it might be a lot uglier than you think despite the final score being 31-3. The Tigers will at least have a complete game to move to 8 wins.
