We’re getting closer and closer to the end of the college football season, and here’s something you probably didn’t see coming. The Big 12 still has two one-loss teams in serious contention for the College Football Playoff and another two-loss team with an outside chance.
The SEC is the only other conference that has that volume.
Who could have predicted that for a conference with only 10 teams at the beginning of the year?
Even more shocking is that the Texas Longhorns, who were dead in the water, have managed to fight their way right back into contention for a bowl game.
We’re getting ready to bring you another round of Vegas Big 12 Predictions with the full knowledge that there are lots of teams with something to play for over the next few weeks.
And there are other good Big 12 teams who would love nothing more than to play spoiler to the entire situation. That’s what we have in this weekend’s match-ups.

Unfortunately, one of the three elite teams, TCU, doesn’t play. But Baylor has a game against Oklahoma State, and Kansas State has a Thursday night match-up on the road against West Virginia. Both games could be a huge factor in the College Football Playoff and Big 12 title scenario.
Texas Tech-Iowa State and Kansas-Oklahoma are the other two games. One will be to determine if there is an outright worst team in the Big 12 this year, and the other could be a closer game than you think.
Kansas has played well for two weeks in a row, and Oklahoma has stumbled at times. Could that be an upset?
Will one of the elite two teams playing this weekend fall? Find out as we get set to bring you our Vegas Big 12 Predictions for Week 13 of the college football season.
